My central research question (CRQ) is women whose husbands are alcoholic addicts, particularly in the countryside where people disregard their roles in families needs the support of the society. In my project proposals, I want to demonstrate to these husbands negative influence upon the health due to the excessive consumption of alcohol and persuade them to abstain from binge drinking. In addition, my proposals suggest some approaches for addicts to go along with the abstention of alcohol to restore themselves to health during this process. I use research article from BioMed Central with the following headline:
Alcohol and fatal life trajectories in Russia: understanding narrative accounts of premature male death in the family
Anna Selivanova and Jane M Cramm, BMC Public Health 2014, http://bmcpublichealth.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1471-2458-14-1183
The people worldwide are aging and their health is deteriorating severely due to bad habit of consumption of substance including drugs, smoking, and drinking. The healthy habit may slow the process of deterioration. Within this article, it focuses on the relationship between health and negative habits of extreme consumption of substance including alcoholic drinking among men and women.
Alcohol use is a main factor contributing to poor health among men. Reported alcohol consumption by men is associated with mortality from alcohol poisoning and accounts for more than 50% of all studied deaths at the ages of 15 to 50 years. Therefore, spirit addicts want to extend their lifetime, they should carry out abstention of alcohol beverage. Additionally, physical activities and exercises should go along with addicts in this period to bring the healthy benefit, for instance, reducing risks of disability and mortality. Physical activities are related to functional limitations that lead to disability and further dependence upon other people in a society.
In conclusion, I use a small part of research material relating to binge drinking to help addicts see negative and endangering consequences once they have indulged in drinking without knowing bodily sinister about health deterioration in a long run. Along with bad influence, I also present some measures to help addicts recover their health in the process they want to give up drinking.

I interviewed Ms. Le Nguyen, a Deputy Director of Vietnamese Women’s Association, whose responsibility is to support women in families whose husband has extremely indulged in alcoholic drinking that makes him negligent in his daily job, leading to being fired by his boss. Vietnamese Women's Association is a government-run body that functions social affairs across Vietnam. She has worked in this field for 10 years that gives credit to interviewing her. One of fields she is interested in is supporting a role of woman in a family. particularly in the country where people ignore the position of a woman in the family and society. She has helped out many problems of families whose husbands have indulged in binge drinkings, neglecting their responsibilities in a family, forgetting their educating children, ignoring earning money to feed the family.
With the credit of the government office and experience in the field I am interested in, I think she is credential that enable me to consider this interview as a primary source.
She was willing to accept my interview by signing a form of consent that I will use this information in my portfolio for my peer's assessment and my project proposals. According to her, negative influence of excessive alcoholic consumption has increased and it is time to the government and the public join hands to eliminate this social evil to build up an image of happy family. She presented many approaches that related to stakeholders such as the traffic police who will put on the table strict punishments on driving in a drunkard condition, social civil associations that help educating drunkards, women's associations that educate, counsel women how to deal with their husbands who are drunkards. She also said it is bad habit of Vietnamese that has been grown from generation to generation in an increasing tendency and has caused traffic accidents, injuries in material and spiritual life. Drinking happens at year-end toasts in the workplace, wedding celebrations, parties, even in weekend meetings where people seem to challenge drinking and it may be offensive if someone refuses to drink.
Ethically speaking, the image of a husband, she said, who is often drunkard will give an ugly impact on his children that may be alcoholic addicted in future. She emphasized the role of a woman in such a family that the wife has to work with the women's association to organise meetings where people criticize, counsel the husband how to abstain from addition, or work with the local authorities to have severe punishment if the first step does not work.
I think my starting point is the support to the role of a woman whose husband is a drunkard, particular in the countryside where people disregard the position of a woman.
